If you are a UK victim (or acting on behalf of the victim) of a motor accident that happened in the UK with another UK vehicle, you can contact the UK Information Centre  to obtain the insurance information of the third party.  Click below to download the relevant form:

If you are a UK victim (or acting on behalf of the victim) of a motor accident that happened outside the UK, but in the EEA, you can give the UK Information Centre details to obtain the third party insurance information on your behalf.

If you are a UK victim of a motor accident that happened outside the UK, (but in the EEA), you can also contact the UK Information Centre to obtain details of the Information Centre of either the country where the accident happened or the country of registration of the 3^rd party vehicle (call 0845 165 2800 or email information@mib.org.uk).
